OK! Lisa wimped out! She could not decide which of the Starborn Creations she liked the best so she said she liked the entire collection. Well, that's just not fair Lisa! But I guess if you love an entire line, you love an entire line!!!! So here is why she could not pick just one: She tells me each piece is funky and chunky and eyecatching. I can agree with that and it is hard to stop at wanting just one. There is a Starborn pendant or bracelet for every outfit, each with its own personality ready to reflect what makes you one-of-a-kind. Each piece is made from sterling silver and crystals, fossils, petrified wood or coloured gemstones. If you would like more information, drop into our store or visit the website http://www.gmgjewellers.com/. You can also check out the Starborn Creations website at http://www.starborncreations.com/ You will love what you see. Thanks Lisa. -J.J.

GMG Staff Pick-of-the-Week

Hello again! This week Maria is sharing with us what her favourite piece of jewellery is in our collection. For her it has to be the Tacori engagement ring with the emerald cut centre stone surrounded by a halo of round brilliant cut diamonds. The diamond halo reflects light up through the clear emerald centre stone reminding her of sun glittering on tiny waves . The ring is so elegant. It has simplicity and clean lines with just a hint of old world charm in the basket and shoulders of the ring. You can see more of the Tacori line in our catalogue at http://www.gmgjewellers.com/ . The stock number for this piece is 01-28-524. Maria would like to hear what you think of her choice of the week. Better still, come in and ask her to show it to you! -J.J.Monday, September 21, 2009
GMG STAFF PICK-OF-THE-WEEK!
Happy Monday!
Well, the latest Tacori and Gabriel & Co. jewellery is catalogued and up on the website and there are so many beautiful pieces to choose from that it got me thinking about my favourites. Those pieces that I go back to time and time again and fantasize about owning them. It gave me an idea! I am sure that the other ladies here at GMG feel the same way about certain pieces so...why not ask them what their favourites are and do a little showcase of them every week. Soooo, Cassandra was the first to tell me her choice and why. It is the Gabriel & Co. diamond chain necklace (01-03-804) on our website at http://www.gmgjewellers.com/ . It is described as, "14K white gold Rolo Syle Chain Necklace having .20CTW in round brilliant cut diamonds of I1 clarity and HI colour. The diamonds are set into milgrain finished beads spaced every 7 inches on a double strand measuring 36 inches long. The piece comes with the Gabriel & Co. certificate of authenticity" Cassandra loves this necklace because it looks light and has lots of sparkle but is strong and substantially made. Its length gives it a versatility for every outfit.
Do you like Cassandra's choice? Let her know. Drop a comment if you like it too. Or better still, come in and choose your own favourite. -J.J.

BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!
Hello everyone,
The store has been buzzing these last few days with shipments coming in from all over North America as we gear up for the fall, and for the upcoming Designer Trunk show. On Friday we received the new line of Tacori rings and fine jewellery! What a selection! Over the next couple of days Maria and I will be working hard to get the pictures and specifications on our website (http://www.gmgjewellers.com/).
Also to arrive was our shipment of round and princess cut Polar Bear Diamonds. We've been busy setting up the displays and I must say that those little Polar Bear statuettes are very cute. Got to get back to work! Bye for now. -J.J.

POLAR BEAR DIAMONDS
Here is something that everyone should know when looking for a Canadian Diamond. Not every Canadian diamond is created equally. Many Canadian mines ship their rough gem out of the country where it is cut, polished and graded and then returned to be sold in Canadian jewellery stores. However, Polar Bear Diamonds mines, cuts, polishes and grades their diamond rough entirely in Canada. And GMG Jewellers is proud to be a distributor of Polar Bear Diamonds.
For more information about Polar Bear Diamonds you can go to their website at: http://www.polarbeardiamond.com/home.html
If you want to see some of these beautiful gemstones you can visit us at our store. We welcome any questions you may have about diamonds. -J.J.
